In the beginning, Ms. Jenkins worked for one of the ten largest law firms in the country in its Washington, D.C. office. After nearly three years practicing in all aspects of regulatory law, she took a break from big firm life to work exclusively for one of her own clients on a class action involving more than fifty sex discrimination claims in California. Robyn A. Bonivich is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While in law school, Robyn was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity and a member of the Pitt Law Women’s Association. She was also a certified legal intern with the City of Houston, Texas, participated in the low-income tax payer clinic at the University of Pittsburgh, and practiced law under the supervision of a practicing attorney. She also held a position as a law clerk with a Tampa Bay area family law firm. Throughout law school, Robyn volunteered as a tutor for at risk youth, as well as with a local food bank and the local Meals on Wheels program. Prior to law school, Robyn graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, majoring in history.

After graduating from law school, Robyn spent time as an associate attorney in two highly-regarded family law firms in the Tampa Bay area. At those firms, Robyn’s concentration was on high conflict divorce and mediation. Robyn has extensive family law experience and has handled hundreds of family law cases, dealing with dissolution of marriage, alimony, child support, child custody, petitions for relocation, post-judgment modification of final judgments and orders, motions for contempt/enforcement of orders and/or final judgments, temporary/concurrent custody orders, and domestic violence injunctions. Megan recently joined Open Palm Law, bringing with her many talents. As someone who previously managed her own business, she brings to the table outstanding time management and organizational skills. Keeping her focus on the highest caliber of customer relations, she is always problem solving and ensuring the prosperity of our clients. Megan graduated from University of South Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice. She is currently is completing her Post Bachelorette in Paralegal Studies at St. Petersburg College with a 4.0 GPA. In her free time this Florida native volunteers with local organizations helping to empower women to create a better life!




Elizabeth Miller joined Open Palm Law in May, 2017 as the firm administrator. Liz has more than 30 years’ experience in the legal field and has been working with the Tampa Bay legal community since 1985. Liz Miller received her paralegal degree from the Paralegal Institute of New York in 1981. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College with a major in business administration and a minor in human resources in 2007 and graduated with a 3.7 GPA while attending college full-time and working full-time. She earned her MBA with a specialty in finance in June of 2009 and graduated with a 3.5 GPA also while working full-time and going to school full-time. Liz is a member of the national and local chapters of the Association of Legal Administrators, the American Bar Association, the Society of Human Resource Management and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Liz handles all the administrative functions for Open Palm Law including all accounting, billing, finances, client marketing and development and all other administrative functions of the firm. Her book, co-authored with attorney Joryn Jenkins, “From Lawyer to Law Firm – How to Manage a Successful Law Business” was recently published by Open Palm Press on May 11, 2017 and hit #4 on the Best Seller’s list by May 23, 2017. Lori received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in December 2004, from which she graduated with honors. As a law student member of the Virgil B. Hawkins Civil Clinic, Lori assisted indigent clients with family law issues. She also received the Estates and Trusts Certificate for her intensive coursework in that practice area.

Proud to be a Florida Gator, Lori had also attended the University of Florida as an undergraduate. In May 2001, she graduated with honors from Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as a Minor in Education. While there, Lori volunteered at the Alachua County Crisis Center, was a Kappa Delta, and participated in many philanthropic events, such as Dance Marathon. CONTINUE READING…
