Lori received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in December 2004, from which she graduated with honors. As a law student member of the Virgil B. Hawkins Civil Clinic, Lori assisted indigent clients with family law issues. She also received the Estates and Trusts Certificate for her intensive coursework in that practice area.

Proud to be a Florida Gator, Lori had also attended the University of Florida as an undergraduate. In May 2001, she graduated with honors from Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, as well as a Minor in Education. While there, Lori volunteered at the Alachua County Crisis Center, was a Kappa Delta, and participated in many philanthropic events, such as Dance Marathon. She is a loyal fan and enjoys cheering her Gators to SEC championships.

In February 2015, Lori had her first child, Tripp. Now, she works from home, juggling her career and parenthood. She spends her mornings teaching new mommies how to stay fit as a Fit4Mom fitness instructor, and her afternoons continuing her practice of law. Somehow, she finds time to continue her passion of long-distance running, and she recently qualified for the Boston Marathon and was the second overall female in the Marathon of the Treasure Coast with a time of 3:32:03.

Lori has always gravitated towards alternative dispute resolution for families in conflict, and she is especially enthusiastic about the benefits of collaborative practice.
