The New Year is Here!

If your New Year’s Resolution was to get a divorce, do it peacefully; Collaborate!

new-year-new-you-2Divorce filings are historically low for the month of December due to parties not wanting to disrupt this time of year for their children. You felt the same way; you kept the peace through the holidays but now it is time to set your goals for the New Year, which includes a divorce.

Just like the peace you experienced through the holidays for you, your children, and your spouse, you now have a choice on how to proceed with the divorce process; fight like a champion (going to court and litigating) or keeping the process as stress-free as possible by collaborating with your spouse and a team of experts to help you both achieve what is best for all involved.

Your marriage may be ending but that doesn’t mean you can’t maintain a healthy relationship with your soon to be ex or mutual friends.
